Organik Kimya is awarded the 2nd place at InovaLIG Innovation Awards

Due to the COVID-19 epidemic that has affected the whole world, the demand for disinfectant products has increased rapidly.  For this reason, Shell's Global Chemicals has provided 127 thousand liters of Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) to Turkey. Organik Kimya and  Shell Turkey cooperated to donate 175 thousand liters of disinfectant to contribute to the demand in Turkey.

With the struggle against the COVID -19 epidemic, Organik Kimya and Shell Turkey’s top priority is to protect the health and safety of their employees, customers and other stakeholders. It is predicted that disinfectant use will be more prevalent in the process of combating the epidemic, especially with the steps taken towards minimizing the spread.

With these 127 thousand liters of Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) raw material donated by Shell, approximately 175 thousand liters of disinfectant will be supplied by Organik Kimya.  The disinfectant is one of the most important tools in the fight against the COVID-19 outbreak. Due to the urgency in the current situation all production and distribution activities will be undertaken in May. The disinfectant to be produced will be transferred to 5-liter containers and will be donated to the Ministry of Health and relevant government institutions by Organik Kimya and Shell Turkey.

The investment includes an addition of a second spray dryer to our Tuzla based Orgachem plant, which will be operational by 2020 and will double the current production capacity.

   Leveraging our expertise in liquid polymer emulsions, we established Orgachem in 2011 for production of redispersible powders. Being the first and only production facility of powder polymers in Turkey and the surrounding region, Orgachem redispersible powder polymer plant plays a signi?cant role not only regionally but also globally. The investment will double its current production capacity and reach 40,000 metric tons by 2020 enabling us to provide more value added solutions for our customers. This additional capacity will improve the viability and competitiveness of our construction solutions business line.

Organik Kimya is awarded the 2nd place in Innovation Strategy category by InovaLIG.

The programme is Turkey's first innovation development programme selecting Turkey’s Innovation Leaders. In the award ceremony Ministor of Economy Nihat Zeybekci presented Organik Kimya’s CEO Simone Kaslowski with the award. The award ceremony recognizing organizations competing in 5 different categories was held at the Istanbul Congress Center with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s attendance. 

Total of 971 Turkish companies applied to InovaLIG competition to be awarded the most innovative company.

Organik Kimya’s Innofix Technology won the Innovation Award at the Adhesive and Sealant Convention & Expo held in Atlanta, Georgia. The award was recieved by Simone Kaslowski, CEO of the company.

Organik Kimya has developed a novel process for packaging of hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive (HMPSA) specifically for hygiene market. Innofix Signature Packaging Technology includes coating of HMPSA with a substantially tack-free hot melt adhesive as a replacement to blown films, offering variety of end use advantages in ease of use, melting speed, filter and nozzle change frequency, energy saving and sustainability. 

Organik Kimya Presented Its Innovative Solutions for Adhesives at WAC 2016!

Organik Kimya presented its latest innovative solutions for the adhesives market during this years World Adhesive Conference which took place in Tokyo, Japan on October 26-28, 2016. The World Adhesive Conference, WAC, is organized every 4 years to discuss issues related to adhesives and sealants. It is an international conference that brings together manufacturers of adhesives and sealants with suppliers of raw materials, equipment manufacturers and sales people. The conference is highly respected with its lead in bringing to light common topics such as environmental problems, legislative controls and raw material supply problems to be challenged by all participants. This years conference was held with the main theme of  “Creating Tomorrow” with 3 principles; Environment, Creation and Evolution.

The NETUBA Trade Award 2015 was presented to Organik Kimya at an event hosted by Rotterdam Mayor Aboutaleb and attended by the Turkish and Dutch ambassadors, representatives of Dis Ekonomik Iliskiler Kurulu (DEIK) and many high level representatives of Dutch and Turkish business environment.

The NETUBA Trade Award is granted every two years, to a company, organization or person who has remarkably contributed to the economic, trade and/or investment relations between the Netherlands and Turkey. Organik Kimya is the first Turkish company that won the award.

Mr. Emre Kaya, received the award on behalf of the board of directors of Organik Kimya. In his speech, he stated that the company is honored and humbled to have received the NETUBA Trade Award. The board of directors see this award as a testimony to their role as a bridge between the countries of the Netherlands and Turkey. He expressed that Organik Kimya highly appreciates the awareness of NETUBA for taking notice of the commitment & success of Organik Kimya.

Netherlands Turkey Business Association (NETUBA) and Dis Ekonomik Iliskiler Kurulu (DEIK) are official partners in the Turkish Dutch Business Council. In this council, they work closely together to support and develop bilateral trade and investment relations between Turkey and The Netherlands. The Turkish Dutch Business Council will present it’s long term program within some weeks.
