Learning Together; with Inspiration, and Technical Depth
Throughout the year, two R&D Forum events held in different formats and enriched with diverse content further reinforced this approach, creating shared spaces for learning and inspiration within the R&D community.
The first R&D Forum, held in January 2025, began with the celebration of the winning team of the 2024 Formulation & Process Design competition. This was followed by technical pitch presentations delivered by our researchers, covering current and critical R&D topics such as post-polymerization optimization and VOC reduction, molecular weight analysis approaches, zeta potential measurement optimization, and the development of fluorine-free technologies.
The very first internal keynote session was held, during which Prof. Davide Moscatelli shared insights drawn from his career journey and the fundamental principles that shape an innovation-driven culture. In the second half of the day, Öykü Alçınkaya and Emre Maşalacı addressed recent developments in R&D digitalization, while Oya Kontart provided a critical framework by highlighting regulatory and safety perspectives with a focus on Hazardous and CMR Chemicals.
The second R&D Forum, held in December 2025, opened with a surprise keynote session. In this session, Cedrick Favero shared his experiences, perspectives, and vision through a more personal narrative, establishing a strong and authentic connection with participants. This was followed by a comprehensive presentation by Bianka Golba on Reverse Engineering approaches and advanced instrumental analysis methods. İlker Kocabıyık then focused on the importance of speaking the customer’s language for R&D teams, emphasizing the impact of combining technical expertise with a customer-oriented mindset on business outcomes.
Later in the day, five technical pitch presentations delivered by our researchers covered a broad range of topics, including new materials science, solvent polymerization, projects creating cross-functional synergy, surfactants, and advanced technologies for post-polymerization processes.
Both R&D Forum events concluded 2025 as a valuable learning journey for the R&D community, supported by inspiring content, strong technical depth, and high levels of engagement.
