Sustainable by Design: Organik Kimya Leading the Low-Carbon Transformation

At this year’s Surfex event, our Technical Marketing Director, İlker Kocabıyık, presented his talk on “Sustainable by Design: Low-Carbon Acrylic Binders with Recycled Content.” In his session, he shared how sustainability principles are being integrated into product development to create next-generation binders that combine reduced carbon footprint with uncompromised performance.

İlker highlighted the growing importance of circularity and the use of recycled raw materials in achieving long-term environmental goals. His insights reflected Organik Kimya’s ongoing commitment to supporting the coatings industry’s transition toward low-carbon, resource-efficient technologies.

He also joined a panel discussion alongside representatives from BCF, OCCA, and Surcon, where leading organizations exchanged views on sustainable manufacturing, low-carbon technologies, and material innovation.
