We are the First Chemicals Company to Receive “Equal Women at Work” Certification!

Institutions that offer equal rights and opportunities to women in business life are entitled to receive the Equal Women at Work Certificate when they get the required points at an independent audit conducted in cooperation with the Sustainability Academy and the British audit company Intertek. Institutions are audited according to the criteria under the main headings of Management System, Recruitment and Employment, Occupational Health and Safety, Supply Chain and Social Impact.

As Organik Kimya, we put equality in business life from a discourse into action and signed the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEP's) in 2018. In addition, we have implemented important initiatives and practices that adds value to women's lives both inside and outside the company. Furthermore, addition to all these, as Organik Kimya, we applied for certification to once again prove our stance that adopts equality in every field, and we were subject to an comprehensive audit.

After a two-days detailed audit, we successfully completed the inspections carried out by Intertek our headquarters, and production facilities, and became the first company in the chemical industry to be awarded with the Equal Women at Work certification.

We shared this achievement and our happiness with the whole Organik Kimya family on March 8, International Women's Day. Once again, we had the opportunity to thank to our female employees and the spouses of our male employees with handmade gifts, supporting women labor, which we’ve sent to their homes. Again on this special day; we published a video consisting of #BreakTheBias poses, in which our employees cross their arms on social media to show our dream of a diverse, egalitarian and inclusive world without prejudices, stereotypes and discrimination.
