Innovative PSA & Paper Solutions for recyclable and biodegradable sustainability challenges
PSA & Paper Solutions offer a wide range of water-borne acrylic adhesives used in packaging tapes, specialty tapes, protective films, graphic films, paper coating & impregnation, film print lamination, paper & filmic labels applications. We develop tailor-made solutions and offerings using the expertise of our dedicated R&D resources and focus on sustainability by recycled raw material usage, solvent free, low odor, low VOC, Biobased, Biodegradable, Compostable Polymer development and the Biomass Balance Approach.Our proprietary Pilot Coater is used to test the mechanical and physical properties of our polymers by simulating production conditions at customers' own facilities. PSA pilot coater can coat water borne PSAs with 7 different coating configurations (Meyer bar, gravure, reverse gravure, fixed blade, roll coating and impregnation) as well as hot-melts with slot-die coating according to rheology of the adhesive, carrier to be coated and final performance requirements. It provides the opportunity to define critical production settings to improve our customers’ productivity. We apply AFERA and FINAT Test Standards for pressure-sensitive adhesive performance testing.
